Bret Michaels Keeps the Door Open for a Poison Reunion in 2027 or 2028

Bret Michaels says the possibility of an all-original Poison reunion remains alive for 2027 or 2028, but no tour or festival appearance has been confirmed.

A Summerfest Reunion Is Bret’s Dream

In an October 16 update, Michaels said his dream for 2027 would be the possibility of kicking off Milwaukee Summerfest with a Poison reunion. He added that if the reunion cannot happen, he would like to return with the Bret Michaels Band.

The key word is possibility. Neither Poison nor Summerfest has announced a reunion performance.

Health and Scheduling Still Matter

Michaels has been recovering from recent surgeries and stepped away from touring for several months after an August comeback performance. In a September update, he said he hopes to see an all-original Poison reunion in either 2027 or 2028, depending on how his health progresses.

Earlier in 2026, Michaels also confirmed that offers for Poison in 2027 had been discussed. He emphasized that any real reunion would require all four original members: Michaels, C.C. DeVille, Bobby Dall and Rikki Rockett.

No Poison Dates Are Confirmed

For now, the reunion remains a hopeful possibility—not a booked tour. CRANKiT ENTERTAINMENT will follow the official band and artist channels for a confirmed date, venue and ticket announcement.
