1. Who We Are

CRANKiT ENTERTAINMENT LLC (“CRANKiT ENTERTAINMENT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a South Carolina live-music media and promotion company. This policy applies to crankitentertainment.com and CRANKiT ENTERTAINMENT services that link to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Contact and correspondence: name, email address, subject, message, and information you voluntarily provide.
• Email subscriptions: email address and any preferences or name you provide.
• Giveaway and promotion entries: name, email address, social-media handle, eligibility and age confirmations, agreement to Official Rules, optional marketing consent, and other entry information described in the applicable rules.
• Winner fulfillment: if selected, a winner may be asked for a mailing address, telephone number, eligibility documentation, affidavit or release, and other information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility, comply with law, announce the winner as permitted by the Official Rules, and deliver the prize.
• Comments or submissions: information displayed in a submission, along with information used for moderation and spam prevention.

Information Collected Automatically

Our website, hosting provider, WordPress, security tools, cookies, and analytics services may collect IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device information, operating system, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, dates and times, interactions, cookie identifiers, and diagnostic or security information.

Information From Other Services

If you interact with CRANKiT ENTERTAINMENT through Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Google, X, Spotify, or another platform, we may receive information you make public, messages you send us, entry information you submit, and aggregated audience or performance analytics made available by that platform.

3. Giveaways, Sweepstakes, and Promotions

Each CRANKiT ENTERTAINMENT giveaway is governed by separate Official Rules. We use entry information to administer the promotion, confirm eligibility, prevent duplicate or fraudulent entries, select and contact potential winners, verify winners, deliver prizes, maintain required records, respond to disputes, and make winner announcements as described in the applicable Official Rules.

Marketing consent is not required unless the applicable Official Rules clearly say otherwise, and opting into marketing does not improve a person’s chance of winning. No purchase is necessary for CRANKiT ENTERTAINMENT sweepstakes unless a lawful promotion is expressly structured differently in its Official Rules.

Promotions may be advertised or involve actions on Facebook or Instagram, services of Meta Platforms, Inc.; YouTube or other services of Google LLC; TikTok and its applicable operating affiliates; X; or other platforms. Unless the Official Rules expressly state otherwise, CRANKiT ENTERTAINMENT promotions are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with those platforms. Information submitted directly to CRANKiT ENTERTAINMENT is provided to CRANKiT ENTERTAINMENT, not to the social platform merely because the promotion was advertised there.

When another page, Facebook group, artist, venue, promoter, sponsor, or business shares or promotes a giveaway, that does not make that party the sponsor or administrator unless the Official Rules specifically identify it as such.

4. Cookies, Analytics, and Embedded Content

We use cookies and similar technologies needed for website operation, login, security, preferences, forms, and analytics. We use Google Site Kit and Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic and content performance. Google and YouTube may collect information when their analytics, videos, or other services are loaded; Google’s handling of that information is governed by its own privacy policy.

Pages may contain embedded videos, audio players, social posts, maps, ticket widgets, or other third-party content. Embedded content can behave as though you visited the third-party service directly and may allow that service to collect information, place cookies, or measure interaction under its own privacy policy.

You can restrict or delete cookies through browser settings. Disabling cookies may prevent portions of the website from working correctly. If CRANKiT ENTERTAINMENT later activates advertising pixels or targeted-advertising technology that requires additional notice or opt-out controls, we will update this policy and provide legally required choices.

5. How We Use Information

• Operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and services.
• Respond to fans, artists, representatives, venues, promoters, partners, and press.
• Administer giveaways, promotions, subscriptions, and requested communications.
• Publish and moderate submissions and prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Measure audience, traffic, and content performance.
• Protect our rights, enforce rules and terms, and comply with legal obligations.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information for money. We may share information:

• With hosting, analytics, security, email, form, anti-spam, fulfillment, shipping, and other service providers working for us.
• With a prize provider, artist team, sponsor, shipping carrier, or fulfillment partner when reasonably necessary to verify or deliver a prize and as disclosed in the Official Rules.
• When you request or consent to the sharing.
• To comply with law, legal process, or valid governmental requests; investigate fraud or security concerns; or protect people, rights, and property.
• In connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.

Public comments, public submissions, and winner announcements authorized by Official Rules may be visible to others.

7. Third-Party Platforms and Links

CRANKiT ENTERTAINMENT links to artist, venue, festival, promoter, ticketing, social-media, podcast, and other third-party services. We do not control those services or their privacy practices. Review their privacy policies before providing information. Ticket purchases are completed with the applicable ticket provider and are governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy.

8. Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including administration, winner verification, prize fulfillment, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, suppression of unsubscribed addresses, security, tax, and legal recordkeeping. Giveaway records may be retained after a promotion closes when reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance with the Official Rules and applicable law.

9. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the email. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of personal information; opt out of certain processing; or appeal a denied request. Applicable rights and exceptions vary by jurisdiction.

Submit a request through our contact form with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding. Authorized agents may be required to provide proof of authorization.

Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not uniformly recognized. Where legally required and technically supported, we honor applicable opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. CRANKiT ENTERTAINMENT giveaways are limited to entrants age 18 or older unless the applicable Official Rules expressly provide a different lawful eligibility requirement. Contact us if you believe a child submitted personal information so we can review and delete it when appropriate.

11. Email Communications

We send marketing email only when permitted by law and based on the signup or consent presented. Every marketing email will provide an unsubscribe method. Administrative communications—such as responses to inquiries, entry administration, winner notices, security messages, or prize fulfillment—are not marketing messages.

CRANKiT ENTERTAINMENT does not currently offer a promotional SMS/text-message program. If that changes, we will add the required consent disclosures and update this policy before launching it.

12. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we maintain. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure, and users provide information at their own risk.

13. International Visitors

CRANKiT ENTERTAINMENT operates in the United States. Information submitted from outside the United States may be processed in the United States and by service providers in other countries, where data-protection laws may differ. Where required, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, services, giveaways, or legal obligations. The “Last Updated” date identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated when required by law.
