Whisky a Go Go is the legendary rock club on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California, opened on January 16, 1964. The Doors were its house band in 1966, and the club made go-go dancing famous and launched generations of Los Angeles rock, from The Byrds to Van Halen and Mötley Crüe.
